Cliff, most of us made the same statements when we got started... "for life"
is a long time... a few months or years down the road you might change your
mind... and ask Dr. T to get you one of those multi-color buttoned viewers
with fancy names... ;)
>I'm not saying your way iswrong, It's just, I'm very pleased with cheap

"Look good" it a function of the viewing device and a good viewer is not
a "fancy extra"... it is as necessary as a good camera, IMO. A viewer is
an extension of your own eyes... you want it to be good.
The excitement of seeing your own images is 3d is enough to get you
going... even if you just have to freeview those images... Later, this
wears out a bit and you might start looking for better results, you might
start wanting to see your good pictures in a better way... We will all be
around when you ask for better viewers... just mark my words!
>I on the other hand don't have to worry about
>Judges etc. because I'm so far away from all that, living in Maine...
The good viewer has nothing to do with judges... it is just for you to
enjoy... and living in Main is not a problem if you want to enter PSA
competitions... I just sent slides to judges in Germany!
