mystery viewers

I have two stereo viewers I'd appreciate some info about. One takes
a transparent slide (probably hand-painted) of about 2 3/4 in. x 5 1/4.
There is a hinged top with a mirror; a telescopic-type viewer with
a focussing knob on the right side, and a lovely marbelized wood
pattern on the viewer. Perfect condition, found , I believe, at an
antique shop. Problem: I have no transparencies for viewing and
would like to find at least one! The 2nd viewer is similar, with the
ground glass back (no hinges) and a mirror in a hinged door on top.
The viewing front has hinges and takes a pair of heavy glass lenses
glued in. (Poor condition -- thanks to our parrot who started chewing
on the wood -- but can be renovated.) No slides or Holmes-type card
would fit this one either. They both have a divider in the center
between the viewing lenses and the ground glass in the back.
I don't want to sell these, as I believe they are quite unique,
but I would like some identification!
Thanks,
Carole
