Need info. on stereoscopes

Hi:
I d like to know if somebody has compiled documentation (if possible,
with lots of pictures) about early 1900 stereoscopes ...
I ve got a couple that need restoration (missing handles ... and probably out of whack-lenses) ...
I know double-zero about those ... and would like pointers about how to restore
them to reasonable shape ...
I also would like to know how easily u can get standard parts for those ... like
handles, lenses, etc.
