I saw this at Toys R Us last week (while buying diapers & formula) and 
didn't really think much of it at the time.  Seems to me that it's pretty 
much a waste of money for a B&W unit w/ no remote capabilities (MUST be 
plugged into VCR).

What I'd like to fine &/or experiment with (going the B&W "cheapie" route) 
would be the hand held video camera my nephew has/had.  It was a "toy" 
that used audio tapes for video recording.  You could then connect the 
camera up to the TV/VCR and play back the tape.  I don't know where he got 
it and I haven't seen any since I saw his.  That, however, would be pretty 
interesting.
