RE: Patrick thanks me for Wirgin history, doesn't have one, but wants
description in the McKeown guide. Since my last post I havr unearthed my
old guide 1985-86 (they don't change much except price?) So my lookup is
on page 377 of the Fifth Edition. (TheRegister limited to 35mm SLRs, but
has every one that ever reached ant production!)
In my book ONLY the Edixa Stereo is pictured, much like Colorist I.
Edixa Stereo II described as having rangefinder, no meter, and Pronto or
Prontor shuteers instead of Vario on std. stereo. Both Steinheil Cassars
(triplet) f/3.5 35mm fl. Edixa Stereo III. IIIa- Randefinder 35mm stereo
camera with built-in light meter, Prontor SVS shutter. I suspect meter
is not auto exposure, just reads a recommended setting? BobH
