Thanks Eric G. for this very detailed and informative analysis of the
theory and practice of "Bracketing"...

>With negative film, it is not uncommon to bracket in full stop increments.

If I ever bother to bracket, that's how I do it... with slide film ;)

For the Realist you can only use the f-stops and not the shutter speeds 
to go for anything less than full f-stop increments (1/2, 1/3, ... 1/n,
with n -> oo)
