EZ Photo & print pair scanning

I had the same problem with the EasyPhoto scanner (also marketed under the
Poloroid name too). The scan lines can be totally eliminated if you
periodically thoroughly clean the inside of the scanner. Unfortunately this
requires breaking out the screwdriver. Dust gets picked up from the feed
roller and gets deposited on the internal side of the scan window. I've
found that once I cleaned the unit I clean each print (front and back) with
a lint free cloth and then put the scanner in a plastic bag or other
suitable cover frequent cleaning isn't necessary. It is possible to produce
scans without the line...it's just a pain. It's not a bad scanner...1200
