IMAX 3-D L5

Hi all,

I was lucky enough today to get to see the newest 3-D IMAX movie, L5 First
City in Space.

I did enjoy it, but I am very picky from going to so many stereo slide
contests. The stereo window wasn't quite set at infinity, but there were
LOTS of shots that had some major foreground stuff that got way to close,
and with a shallow depth of field the background, and foreground (not of the
computer animation) was out of focus. Focus to me is incredibly important
for stereo. Once again, this is for me, and maybe not anyone else.
Although the 4 friends that came along with me are not big stereo fans
(except for my images ;) and they also didn't like the out of focus stuff
iether. We all (and many people in the audience also seemed to be talking
about this) had a slight pain in our foreheads from the way the "Goofy
red/blue Glasses" sat on our heads. {I stuck in the red/blue part to bug
Marvin, they are of course not red/blue glasses}
