Dr. T says his wife reminded him to remove lens caps from Hexar version
of RBT he is testing (or buying?). Welcome to the world of RF (even if
AF) cameras. On the Leica you could also forget to pull out the
collapsable 50mm lens used on all the early models. This resulted in a
big blurred circle on the film. (A giant circle of confusion for Wm.
Carter to extract 3d From?)
Says this looks so much like a camera, that didn't draw attention, but
one kid asked is that a 3d?
Now I had my TDC STEREO VIVID at Disneyland. It is one of the most
knobby and chromed cameras around. A sweet young thing rushed up and
asked (of all things?) "It that a Leitz Camera?" She was wonderstruck
when I explained the glories of 3d. (I am puzzled at the question as
most would ask if that is a Leica, and few but real knowing ones would
ask about the parent Leitz...once.) BobH
