RE: Discussing the joy of getting 30 exposures, noted by careful loader,
LeRoy Baron, remembers the Kodak 20 exposure stereo roll of Kodak and
wonders if the 24 exposure roll was inspired by the "stereo roll"?
The 24 exposure roll originated in Japan to compete with dreaded
incoming Kodak film. Kodak responded with 24 exposures there, and having
made it, later introduced it to USA.
Getting an extra shot or two is the a good reason for not trimming the
later films with short leader..and with adroit fiddling with the
sprocker can get 30 pix and good ID frame too. (This writes up worse
that it is I think..as trimming sounds simpler?) The TDC VIVID can use
any trim..as contrasted to the one that is bottom loaded like a Leica, a
WIRGIN?  BobH
