You have a point.  I'm in digest mode so I'm not sure if you've 
posted more since this note but you're right - we may be in danger 
of discussing this until only our tails (tales?) are left.

I guess for a conclusion I would say that when you claim a radical
way of looking at something is the true way, the burden of proof 
falls heavily on you.  You must have all your ducks in a row.  It 
has to be a very tight case.  Your experimental proof, its method, 
data, and conclusions, must be flawless.  I'm not saying this is fair, 
only that it's the way it is.

In case anyone doubts it, Allan, Bill, and I are all friends, have 
been for quite a while.  (I don't mean just here on the internet.)  
We do differ considerably on this SL3D topic, however, as I'm sure 
is obvious to the most casual observer.
