So, the Brits and French are sold to 2x2. Who is against? The Germans,
the Americans, Canadians, Japanese?
It goes beyo(u)nd projection... It's a philosophy of life... I am sold to
the "standard stereo format" because 1) I like the convenience of carrying
both images in one frame (I only do 3d), 2) Can take advantage of the good
quality and reasonable prices of 50s viewers and projectors and variety of
stereo mounts, 3) I can share my work with the majority of stereo
photographers who, apparently, are using the same system.
I just hope that the Germans (RBT) will continue to support this format
with new products, the Ukranians (FED) will expand their line of current
stereo cameras and get into viewers and (more) projectors.
I am not sure what the Greeks think about all that... ;) -- George
