Wolfie, I think that you will get a lot of replies on this question.
You're correct, just line up the images and if your rangefinder is
working correctly, then you know the distance to the object you want
to photograph. Make sure you also check your depth of field, the focus
knob ( recent Realists ) lets you directly determine the closest and
most distant points in focus in relation to the f-stop you use. I find
that this method provides the sharpest images on my Realist Custom.
There are other methods of focusing the camera ( hyperfocal ), maybe
you would like to run a few rolls of film through the camera and get
a feel for how the camera sees the image.

In Australia I get some of my supplies from Judy Archer's Stereo
shop. You can contact Judy on the address below;

        Judy Archer
        Judy's Stereo Shop
        PO Box 465
        Pymble NSW 2073

Judy has a listing of items available for sale which she will send out
on request. Judy supplies both the Sydney and Melbourne Stereo clubs
( one shop fits all ). You may find it useful to contact REEL-3D in
the US, if you can not find an item in OZ eg Albion mounts, REEL-3D
will have it. I have found REEL-3D to be very fast in supplying any
order I have faxed to them ( including a 50 x 50 silver screen ), they
would have to be one of the very best companies I have contacted.

As for Kodak in OZ, forget it. If you contact the Melbourne branch and
mention the magic word(?) "3D", their database responds - "contact
REEL-3D in the US". Kodak do not have a Realist format mounting
service.

        Hope this helps
