What sort of Fresnel lens? How *special* was the ground glass? Is there
information on this anywhere in print?
This sounds like something that should have caught more attention! We really
shouldn't let the *corporations* make all our tool development decisions for
us!!! Their purposes don't always result is what is best for actual people
or circumstances. There is a whole *lost culture* originating from our own
modern age in all the technologies that get ignored or otherwise
undeveloped. No need to go back to ancient history to find lost civilizations!!!
