Recommendation #1.  Look for film that says <something>chrome (Kodachrome, 
Ektachrome, Fujichrome), which indicates slide film, not <something>color 
(Kodacolor, etc...) which indicates print film.

Recommendation #2. Check with Seattle Filmworks to see if they can create 
slides from your print film.  I don't know if they can do this from 
regular films (instead of the 1547 or whatever...) but it won't hurt to 
try.

Recommendation #3. Have your Kodak Gold developed and see what they do 
with printing it.  Then take it to someplace who will try cropping the 
negative down and print just the picture.  Then cross/wall eye view it or 
get a View Magic.
