3D Expo 2

To all those who contributed to the Expo 2 I would like to extend my
sincerest thanks. The Expo was awesome to say the least. Tim Klein and I
had a great time viewing the contents and we even gave Jim Roberts a
chance to peruse through the contents along with us.

All the entries were excellent and gave me some great ideas on future
"shoots". I was most partial to scenes with snow and ice mainly because I
don't see much of it these days.

I was especially enthralled with the 3D video and the shutter glasses. As
a used-to-be avid skiier, the skiing segment made me want to get my
reservations in right now.

The screwdriver segment was particularly fun to view both for me and my
3yr old. He kept on trying to grab the screwdriver as it projected out
the "window" (so did I :-) ). Watching him was particularly entertaining
for all. In fact, I ordered a pair of shuttered glasses for my computer
last night from Tiger Software simply for the entertainment value.

Sorry, but my wife frowned on the "exercise" video. Pretty good though.

I also appreciate the donation of the various viewers. I have now
experienced a Dr T'ized Red Button Viewer. I'll be looking for one at
garage sales, pawn shops and auctions.

I also want to thank all those who commented on the View Magic prints I
included as my entries. It's now quite obivous to me that I have a _LOT_
of work to do both in composition and mounting of my materials. And I
think I'm beginning to like slides a bit better.

I wish I could have taken more time to make comments and notes but we
wanted to get it on its way.

Regards,
Ron Beck
