Nah. It has no effect on their chemicals. You're just adding a bleach 
reversal to what is substantially the same film. 

I once did this accidentally to a roll of 16mm film. It was of a bunch of 
Vallejo's Hell's Angles bikers racing toward the camera and making a 
sharp turn and out of the frame. It was great!!! The contrast between them 
and the bright background created a kind of halo all around them, and it 
would loosely bob and weave around each of the bikers and their bikes as 
they swooped down the road. Great stuff, and totally due to a screw up.
