This has been my general experience, also. My Kodachrome goes to the
local Minneapolis Kodalux processing plant and is usually back to me
the next day. The only problem I've had with them was when they
returned someone else's 2D slides (uncut and nicely rolled). It took
about a month for them to locate and return my slides (and thankfully
also uncut).
