Sounds like your antacid supply is running low, George. First of all, I don't
know if I'd call the 3Discover a "cheap" viewer at $50, nor, I believe, does it
use "standard" 35mm film. It may or may not be 35mm in width, but the sprocket
configuration is different. And, as you, I, and others have commented, the
positioning of images taken with a 3D camera pretty much precludes the film
being used for direct viewing. I suspect that what the 3Discover people are
REALLY studying is the possibility of a "normal" 3D camera and a lab which makes
a PRINT of its negatives in the proper position on film which is compatible with
the viewer. If the viewers and their pre-made cartridges are successful, it is a
logical and potentially profitable next step.
