Sorry, I just can't get used to the Internet requirement that all jokes, no
matter how blatantly obvious, MUST be labeled as such. (This is not a joke, but
it is an editorial opinion, in case anybody needs for it to be identified.)

Actually, it's no more complicated than a lenticular print, or even the common
RGB negative / positive format. This isn't to say it's being considered or, if
it is, that it's likely to be successful, of course -- only that it's not
beyond the veil of possibility. As for buying 3Discovers and writing to the
company about how excited we are, that may or may not produce a new camera
format. But telling the company, "Okay, you've spent a lot of money developing
this. I'm not interested in buying it, but if you spend a lot more money
developing something else, I may or may not consider buying that" is unlikely to
produce any further products.
