   Oops...slip of the fingers...that last post should have read:
Keith Wilson reports seeing fuzzy V-M reels from the late 40s to early 50s.
I've seen this too, but only in reels from that period.  In most cases, the pictures
are not only fuzzy, but seem darker than usual as well.  This has led me to wonder
if the problem might be fungus.  For several of these reels, I've seen other copies
that are fine, bright, and sharp.
