I don't think so. I checked the image relative to the sprocket holes and
they seem to be exactly the same as in a regular processed 35mm film roll.
The only difference between a regular 35 mm roll and the 3Discover film
is that there is a 4p spacing between the each 8p frame. The position of
the images is not determined by the perfs but by a mark on the bottom of
the film. There is a LED and sensor that reads this mark and positions the
image accordingly. The problem I think is that the company will say it is
using a special film to 1st make it sound special and 2nd to try to avoid
people copying it. Third, I have have been given different stories regarding
their viewers and had to filter out what was hype and what was fact.
