Re: Television has sound!

Growing up in a different time period and culture, I missed the slide
shows and 8mm home movies (even though my dad has left me with a
treasure of 8mm movies with us kids growing up, I do not remember him
ever projecting them!) But I am getting exposed everyday with another
form of hobby/entertainment: Lowest quality shapshots from cheap cameras
and poor processing. I'll take 3d slides over these snapshots and
TV together at any time for reasons of quality (over convenience) and
personal satisfaction. Stereo photography is not for everyone but it is
something certainly worth doing. While stereo slides do not have sound
and motion, what they do have (resolution, depth, colors) is great.
Short but very sweet. What Marvin is saying about the status of TV is
certainly true but stereo and TV do not compete with each other. A
person can certainly enjoy both.
The question now is: How am I going to make my kids enjoy and
appreciate 3d and follow their father's footsteps?
