That's what I think about the Realist Red-button viewer too!  It's a fine
portable viewer with a pair of D batteries that seem to last a long
time.  I don't want to immobilize myself just to save a few pennies.

But some people like to AC-power'ize Red-buttons anyway.  To each
their own.

P.S. - Got back my first film (3 rolls of Kodachrome) today that were taken
       with my new FED camera.  Except for the operator blunders, they're
       looking good (held up to the light sitting in a car).  Can't wait to
       mount'em.  And to use, for the first time, the 7p-enhancement part
       of my DrT'rb  viewer!   :-)
