Expensive? I would not call a $100-$150 Kodak or Realist expensive.
I have delt with Dalia Miller, Harry Poster and other individuals from this
list and never had any problem, or, if a problem shows up, it is always
resolved to my satisfaction. I think you should buy a stereo camera from
someone who is into stereo photography and/or someone who will take the
camera back or exchange it if there is a problem.

The only question that is of interest for me is the serial number, but I
doubt that it will mean much to you. Ask the questions that you would
ask when buying any camera, like, is the camera working well, would you
take it back if it's not, how many days do I have to return it, any
accessories that come with it, etc. But if you deal with someone in this
list you don't have to call. You can use email to complete the
transaction.

Try a camera show or camera stores that sell second-hand cameras. Many
times these stores have the best bargains because they pay next to zero
when an old lady comes in to sell her husband's stereo equipment.
