endorse these services/products but I know the person who offers them.

Dear George:
I have been trying to get on the photo-3d list for some time now. I
would like to post this information, but have not been able to. Would
you please do it for me? You don't have to endorse it, but it might
help to say you know who I am. If I get enough interest, then I'll work
out the pricing on the scans. It will be much cheaper than
alternatives. Thanks, Jon
I have a Nikon LS-1000 professional quality 35mm slide scanner, and have
made a adapter to scan stereo mounted slides. I would like to set up a
service to scan slides and return them to customers through the Internet
to reduce the costs. I can also return images on floppy. If there is
enough interest, I can return them on photo-cd or cd-rom.
In addition, I am offering an encoding service to format the images in
Neotek's KnowledgeVision format. I sell a special individual version
(VR-Vision) of the KnowledgeVision product for $249 plus shipping (and
tax in MN). This system, which usually sells for $395 includes 1 pair
of wired shutter glasses, the KnowledgeVision Presenter, and a Glasses
Controller that can be used with up to five pairs of glasses. Extra
glasses are $89 each. This offer is good for orders placed before
1/15/97.
This system DOES NOT REQUIRE SPECIAL DEVICE DRIVERS in order to work
with a PC. It does require a video adapter that will display 1024X768
at 16bits (2MB of video memory or better). The image is flicker free.
No matter what kind of LCD system you have viewed before, the system
produces stable, flicker-free, full-color images.
I can also scan stereo cards, image pairs, and negative.
