All kiddding aside Dan, I don't think that a computer anaglyph can compare
with a slide, especially when realism is concerned. When people look at a
fine grained slide stereo image in a good quality viewer they comment on
how realistic it looks and are even bothered by "frozen action" and other
elements that contradict with a real scene. I don't think that an anaglyph
can generate the same reaction. Especially a computer anaglyph. It can be
a good stereo. But it is not very realistic, meaning it cannot be confused
for reality.

The above is my personal opinion based on what I have seen so far. I am
sorry if I am too passionate about it. Perhaps when I get to be Dr. G's
age, I'll be less passionate. You can go ahead and send me a good anaglyph
image and perhaps a pair of the best glasses to view it with. I'll take a
look and post my honest opinion here.
