In response to Charles Hotchkiss's question on the Kodak Stereo No 1:
This is a folding rollfilm camera that took 101 film size. The image was
3 1/8 by 3 3/16 in (times 2 of course). It was introduced in April 1917
and discontinued May 1925. It had two Kodak Anastigmat f/7.7 lenses.
Between 1917 and 1918 it used a Stereo Automatic shutter, replaced in
1919 with a Stereo Ball Bearing shutter. Shutter speeds were 1/25, 1/50
and 1/100 sec with B and T. The camera is described has having a seal
grain leather covering; rack and pinion focusing, and a rising front. UK
variations in the later '20s had Cooke or Ross lenses. The number made
is unknown.

If interesting, I can send you a photocopy of the book's picture, or I
can take a picture of the real thing (friend's collection) and mail it
to you.
