More thoughts on Tyco's aquisition

As my imaginary friend, Bruce Springsteen, and I were having lunch the
other day, he mentioned that sombody should let Mattel know that "if they
want to get back to producing some serious reels [and grab back whatever
market might be drifting to 3Discover], there's a huge talent pool
availible [through the list] that are experienced in 3-D photography and
are probably willing to work for equipment and an excuse to indulge the
hobby".

We've also been wondering what cameras were/are used to produce the
mass-market reels of both today and previous interest surges. Neither of us
think it terribly likely that reels used in shining new model C viewers
were snapped off with VM Personal cameras.
