|viewing for neurosurgery?  Was supposed to be so good as they could 
|see in "three dimensions" so the doctors could operate better and

Yes - I saw that also. Fairly interesting since they opted to go for
holographs as opposed to more traditional shutter/anaglyph, etc technology.
Also I'd be interested to know how they manage it - whether it's multiple
CAT scan images combined together optically, or totally computer generated
and written with a laser or what.

Maybe some of the MDs here can enlighten us here (withough getting off too
deep into holography, which is outside the charter of the list).
