Yes my sentiments exactly. Before joining this group I didn't realize
so many people were into 3D and that it was alive and well as you say.
Long live 3D and flower power! It was because of this group that made
me get back into 3D more seriously.

As for myself it's only a hobby, but alot of list members are into it
either semi or fully professionally. There are some on this list that
offer their services for 3D wedding pictures, Allan Lewis comes to mind.
He has a web page of his services at
http://www.arlington.net/homes/dlewis/
VM reels have been done extensively in alot of different commercial
interests. From viewing your lunch in VM viewers in a restaurant to
taking home museum exhibits ;-) as a VM reel by Jamie Drouin's
wonderful Mandate of Heaven. This can be seen at his site at
http://www.islandnet.com/~jdrouin
Then there is a shoe store that Jon Golden reported about, that in
the 50's had their shoes in Realist slide format. Of course there is
endless others also. One comment I would like to make. How about taking
those 3D flower pics in VM reel format. The viewer would be inexpensive
and the format is familiar to most people. The only problem with this
is that unless you mount the chips manually which would be tedious
depending on the quantity, the other option would be for Tyco's special
unit can do them for you, but a 1000 reel order minimum would be
required! You can read the details on this at Mary Ann & Wolfgang Sell
web site at
http://www.cinti.net:2000/~vmmasell/com.html
Jamie Drouin has commented on P3D what it entials to go about getting
a 1000 piece run of VM reels.
Realistically thou it has been commented that it is very hard to get the
general public interested in 3D, but as a promotional item I think it
would do very well.
Regards and thanks for the nice comments.
Gabriel
