Mike, congratulations on the purchase of a fine stereo projector! I have
copied stereo views successfully using a camera with macro lens, a flash at
45 degrees, regular slow speed film (Fuji 100) and a jig to hold the card.
The jig is necessary to temporarily remove the curvature of curved views.
Camera and flash are held constant. The jig is moved parallel between
exposures (you can have an edge to ensure that it is moved parallel or just
play it by eye). Most cards can be copied in 5p mounts with a little
cropping in the sides and edges for a better placement of the stereo
window. I generally do not like to see the card's borders and prefer to
have my slide mount be the only boarder. If the view has lots of useless
sky you can consider tighter copying and mounting in a 7p mount. Best luck!
