I don't know about the autofocus on a Nikon, but if you want to use
a "beamsplitter" stereo attachment make sure that the lens doesn't
rotate the front filter attachment when it is focused.  I think
autofocus cameras wouldn't do that to keep the motorized mass low,
but you never know.... good to make sure.
