No, in general, the autofocus does not work with any of the 
beamsplitters.

We sell both the Pentax version and the Stereoworld clone and I've used 
them extensively on my Pentax Z1  SLR which has to be switched to manual 
focusing....which I mostly use anyway (other than when photographing a 
moving target like grandchildren!).

Mostly I shoot neg stock with this unit so that I can view and pass 
around prints in the Loreo viewer  -  it's easier than squinting through 
a slide viewer.
