Detroit meeting coming up!

Monthly Meeting in Detroit this Wednesday... at the Livonia Civic Park
Senior Citizens Activity Center on Farmington Rd. (contact me for detailed
directions).  The program is "Potpourri".  Competition assignment is
"Transportation".  This is Christmas party night!  Meeting starts at 6:30
pm (instead of 7:30) with good food as I understand.  Unfortunately, I
won't make it by 6:30 and, if I am lucky, I'll be there at 7:30 with my
kids!  Last year there was a terrible snowstorm that delayed me for a whole
hour! For the program I was asked to demonstrate the "Dukes Previewer" in a

Compco Triad projector.

"Transportation" (cars, trains, boats...) has been a favorite 3d subject
since the era of stereo views.  It is an interesting subject with lots of
possibilities.  I expect to see many good stereo pictures.  I have about 10
good ones and need to pick 3.  This is not easy to do because none of the
10 is outstanding.  I'll let you know....
