I'll make it on topic. ;-) Personally I like CD's over vinyl not only for
the sound quality but also for the lents! Advantages CD's have over vinyl.

1) On a CD you can take the lent out from behind the jewel case and put
   your own.
2) They sometimes hide another lenticuler inside, behind the CD in the
   jewel case.
3) CD just plain sounds cooler. How about C3D!
4) Vinyl reminds me of the model T. Same color and same vintage.
5) Try as someone mentioned CD-vinyl. Where would we store our
   fabulous digital 3D pictures. It's Kodak Photo-CD, try that
   with ??????? Photo-vinyl.

So in conclusion my vote goes to acrylic i.e. CD's(or whatever it's made
out of) over vinyl.
