Considering you can easily process E-6 in 35 minutes, I would not
consider Polaroid slide film for any use other than experimentation.
(Note: my last use was three years ago, so if the emulsion changed, my
experience may be invalid.)

It's extremely grainly, fragile, reportedly non-archival, and
*expensive*.
