We have discusseed this a couple of times in photo-3d. Jim Motley and
myself own 4 of these stereoscopes here in Cleveland. The optics are
achromatic lenses, something very unique and unusual. The image sharpness
is greatly improved over regular sterescopes IMO. I got my first one from
Martin Simon (I bet he regrets it now ;)) and once I figured out how good
this scope is, I sold all the other ones, including the famous Red Wing.
Alan Lewis in TX has found a small source of the same original lenses used
in these scopes and is planning to construct and offer for sale a line of
achromatic stereoscopes.

To accompany this scope I have a series of eyetesting cards, a complete set
with instructions, etc. Test everything from stereopsis to eye sight.
Very interesting and educational and useful.

Market prices? Since this stereoscope is not widely known, there are no
established prices. I paid $125 for mine. If I was going to sell one I
would ask over $300 which is what its real value is.
