Up in the roof...

I was sorry to read about Tim's accident...

I am tempted to ask what he was doing up in the roof... Not taking 3d
pictures I suppose... As a matter of fact, just today around 12:30 pm I was
up in the roof trying to clean these damn gutters... I always fear about
falling but that has not stopped me from climbing up there... Now hearing
about Tim's accident I am ready to buy a long ladder so I don't have to
risk my life any more! Actually, one time I climbed up the roof and took a
few 3-d pictures from that interesting high view point, including
self-portraits with a tripod and mechanical timer in my Realist.

For a real 3d accident story, check the last issue of the Journal of
Stereoscopic Society about someone who fell from a cliff while
taking 3d pictures!!!

I have not yet been injured in my pursuit of 3d and I keep my fingers
crossed... Most probably I will get electrocuted while I am checking out the
operation of the TDC projector with bare wires hanging around... ;)

Glad to see you back into 3d Tim!

George Themelis
