Dear Dave,

We can help you out concerning lenticular screen and the math. Thank you
for your inquiry concerning our company products and services. The
professional photographic market has always needed a Commercial Camera for
creating high quality lenticular pictures at a reasonable cost. The
advertising world dictated a need to computer generate images. With this
in mind, we have developed a variety of Photographic Systems, Computer
Hardware and Software to meet these diverse requirements:
COMPUTER GENERATED IMAGING
1. Flip Image: Two images or more that alternate back and forth between
each image depending on the viewing angle. The images will change as the
viewer moves from side to side (such as walking by) on a vertical
lenticular screen or as the viewer approaches the image head on from the
front (as walking up to the image) on a horizontal lenticular screen.
Examples: A scene that goes from day to night; a sign that changes
messages or alternates between two languages; a picture with words that
appear and disappear; a old and new picture of the same scene. Flip
Images can be prepared from any two dimensional image.

2. Digital Dimension Image: We create fully rendered images from a 3D
computer models that shows not only depth of the scene but also reveals
side perspectives to create the illusion of totally real and solid objects.
Examples: A logo that appears to be floating in space; a product that
seems real enough to touch; a preview of a building that looks like it is
already built.
A Digital Dimension Image can be created from existing 3D modeled files or
custom image created according to the client's design using available
photographs, drawings or a concept as a reference.

COMPUTER GENERATED IMAGING
3. Animation/Morph Image: An image in which any element appears to move or
change from one viewing angle to the next.
Examples:  A globe that spins;  a logo that changes from metal to marble;
text that zooms in to the viewer;  a face that changes from young to old;
water that appears to flow.
Animation/Morph Images can be created in either Digital Projection or
Digital Dimension formats and have similar image requirements. They can
also be created directly from film or digital files of an existing animated
sequence.

4. Virtual Replay: This process replays up to ten seconds of motion (250
frames) back to your eyes by simply rotating the lenticular picture. The
PRO-3D-VIEW can also be used to create a Virtual Replay lenticular image by
recording the frames displayed on a high resolution computer monitor.
Examples: A sports personality in motion; a famous scene replayed from
any movie ever made.
Virtual Replay can be created directly from any video, laser disc, motion
picture film, CD or digital files of an existing animated sequence.
