Thanks Shab for the great questionnaire. I may copy it (with your
permission, of course) to use as a survey when I give my dog and pony
show for the flattie club this January .

I appreciate your suggestions and helpful hints re: starting and
maintaining a stereo club. I may see if there is interest (read:
willing volunteers) in starting a club in this area. I certainly
don't want to repeat my one-man show of last year, but if someone
(else) is willing to take the reins, I don't mind riding shotgun.
As a longtime curmudgeon, frequently intolerant grouch, reasonably
introverted, unreasonably xenophobic individual, I would not be a good
"Official Greeter" although I feel Jon is absolutely correct in his
assessment that one is needed.

Kodak Camera Club does support a Stereo Division with semi-regular
meetings, but the slide competitions are held during the noon hour,
which means that I have to take an extra 45 mins for travel plus my
lunch hour, besides skipping the eating part. This to attend a
screening of other people's slides (don't get me wrong, though, there
are some very talented shooters there). Kodak Camera Club is open to
employees only, and that leaves me (and my slides) out. I attended
regularly for a year or so, but stopped soon after I got my own
projector.
Best regards,
Bill Davis
