Although this isn't 3d related, I thought I'd mention...
When at Wal-Mart the other day, I happened across a $7 USD videotape with
all of Pixar's major pre- Toy Story output (TinToy, Red's Dream, KnickKnack,
Luxo Jr., Andre & Wally B.). None in stereo of course, but there *might*
be some frame grabbing opportunities (I haven't looked closely). Fairly
pricey for a 20 min video, but it's the first time I've seen all of a couple
of these (like Red's Dream, in my case). And in my case, I can use it as
a demo tape for my upcoming Computer Graphics course in the spring (I'm
thinking of *maybe* trying to have them do a lab of a side by side
stereo animation using POVRAY/POLYRAY).
Produced by Walt Disney Home Video. Interestingly enough, it's in a standard
VHS cassette body, without the large "porno hubs". Look for "Tiny Toy
Stories" (which could lead to some confusion - I got the last copy at my
Wal-Mart. I wonder how many people bought it thinking it was "Toy Story"
on sale...)
FWIW...
