I don't have any information as to how it was shot, but I have a 2 reel
View-Master set shot in 3-D on the set. I think it was done for the
movie promo viewer used for 3-D movie at that time. View-Master never
published these and only a few samples exist. Maybe it was planned as a
3-D 
feature, who knows (other than the Shadow).
