I did this many years ago, so many years ago that I can't remember the
relevant details. However, the general principles are (if I remember
correctly):
- the Nimslo flash unit is a "modern" unit which will fit
onto any modern camera. This is a starting point when
talking to the person in the camera shop
- I needed two separate adaptors, so that now the flash is
raised approximately 2 inches above the conventional
position, which makes not one jot of difference
I'm not a fan of stereo photos that rely on the flash for general
illumination (i.e. at night), unless the subject's depth of field
is significantly restricted. Reason: a large depth of field would
look unnatural due to a wide variation in illumination.
