I think the first few digests were reposted at a later time and
are still in the bobcat site but after the first few, the next
are missing until about digest 700.

However, this comment:

... implies that there was something going on before photo-3d
digest No. 1!  Computer archaeologist must now dig deep enough
to uncover the prehistory of the 3d mailing list!
