DrT by Paul Talbot

Paul Talbot, I don't know what your problem with "DrT" is. You
mentioned his name 15 times (yes, I counted them) in a recent posting.
Dr. T kindly asks you that you pick on someone else next time, preferably
your own age!

OK, I am kidding... but you did distort DrT's personality somehow. Trying
to make your point about exposure, you managed to paint a picture of me
that is not entirely correct. I am NOT the guy who is very careful and
critical about viewers and alignment and very casual about exposure.

Heck, NO! That's not true! Especially the comment about the harsh
criticism. My limits of tolerance are very wide. I must be blind not
to see the difference between the $3 and a Realist red button. My "sharp
eyes" come into play when I detect the chromatic aberration in the lenses
of Kodaslide II. Yet, I recommend this viewer to anyone. Alignment?
No problem! My slides are misaligned too. I do not criticize people or
equipment for "minor flaws". I am only after the big ones.

>Dr. T thinks they are wasting film; they may think Dr. T is wasting
>time and effort mounting his own slides.
                 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Clarification: Kodak will *not* mount my 7P Realist slides ;) ;) ;)

FYI, I have said that I enjoy mounting. That's why I do it. It is not
a waste of time for me. It is a pleasure. More fun than taking the
pictures in the first place! It's not an issue of high standards.
It's plain and simple entertainment for me. I have declared my casual
approach to mounting when I've said that I don't use gauges or light
tables. Minor alignment errors are a par for the course for me.
Serious alignment errors are another issue.

PS. The lighting problem with one my slides discussed in the list
was about color temperature balance and not exposure.
