are using on that big monitor. I would hope you're higher than 640 x 480!
How high can you set your resolution? Have you tried the highest setting? It
does sound like your image is being displayed too large to properly view in
parallel mode, an ongoing problem.  Many of my images I've made much smaller
than I like for that reason, but sometimes I make them to bigger sizes
because I like the additional detail. They become unviewable if viewed at
too low a resolution level. You could view them crossed but then the images
are inside out...

I'm using a 17 inch monitor at 1024 x 768. My video board supports higher
resolution than that but I find it comfortable for most images I've
encountered. A 21 inch monitor is bigger but not by that much. You may need
a better video card to increase the resolution to levels that will work for
you. I recommend nothing less than a 4MB card.
