Daily response from Dr. T

I don't know why you guys keep on picking on me?! ;) ;) ;) Now the latest
is digging the contradictions I've fallen into. Paul and (mostly) Gabriel
are searching old digest to find things I've said "yesterday" that
contradict with what I say today. Well, we are humans... we learn new
things, we change our minds. That's life and it is a good sign. But if
you read carefully you will see that the underlining principles are the
same.
Last night I emailed 3 long posts on 5p vs. 7p which pretty much reply to
Gabriel's posting (these might be lost or are stuck in the pipe). The
issue of format is important in stereo IMO. Personal preferences do come
to play and these change as we are exposed to different viewing systems
(viewers, projection, computer screens, etc.) Gabriel, wait for these new
ones and then take your time finding all the contradictions between "now"
and "then".
Paul managed to dig out some "ancient" Detroit club history. It was a
Christmas family visit to my brother-in-law (two years ago). I had the
Realist with on-camera the wall and there was an electric plug that I had
not noticed. These were the distracting elements for the judges. Is that
an exposure issue? Since then I've learned my lesson and I bring my
umbrellas and other professional lighting equipment every time I visit my
relatives on vacation ;) ;) ;). Let's be serious! I enjoy quick, hand-
held, spontaneous stereo photography. Most times I don't have time to set
a tripod and bracket 6 times. My subjects tend to move, walk away, get
tired, etc.
