I held this back to think about it some more and I see others are suggesting
good ways to speed things up. Hopefully this will add to that discussion.

I really enjoyed my brief glimpse of expo2. I wish for another shot at
viewing it sometime, but I figure expo3 will satisfy the desire for more.
There must be a lot of people who feel similarly...
Perhaps there is a better way to distribute such a collection?
Some thoughts: Suppose that materials show up and are collected for expo3...
<<<The list of destinations could be at least partially formed in advance
beginning anytime.
<<<It would likely end up longer than expo2's tour.
<<<Consider making multiple copies of each item so that several collections
of physical copies exist. These copies are packaged and started on their own
routes designed to complete their journey in less than 6 months, derived
from time and stops information this time around.
<<<The originals are retained by someone and most of it is scanned,
digitized or otherwise described and posted to a web site. Visitors to the
web site can make contact with someone to obtain access to one of the stops
on the route that is nearest or to arrange to host a stop.
<<<Viewing the web version will stimulate the desire to be present at one of
the 3D parties along the way to experience the real thing.
<<<This accommodates more people, travels faster and can be expanded as
needed if more circuits of the edition are needed.
<<<Feedback can be better organized and facilitated through the web page as
well as materials with the collection. Comments on particular items would be
readable by all as a group collection. This way you get to watch your
response right away instead of waiting for the full traverse.
<<<Members would be sharing more of a group experience by the closer time
table and the existence of multiple editions.
<<<Planning could allow for longer periods of time with the materials for
more of those who do get a chance to be close to it. Better response forms
would make the association of one's reactions to the appropriate article
easier and can be checked or re-experienced on the web where forms on the
page would allow directed comment to what you see in front of you. Hopefully
based on your actual first hand experience.
<<<There is a potential of compiling this material then copy it to a CD-ROM
master and duplicate it for sale at a fee designed to pay for the whole
project. This could be considered for expo2 at the end of it's journey too.
<<<A book could be printed to accompany the CD-ROM.
<<<While there is a desire for quality in the content, the emphasis of this
expo would be primarily what it currently is. I suggest that fact should
carry a high value in terms of uniqueness and potential marketing value of
the material.
<<<It may become a sought after collection judging by current response.
<<<I'm sure you could get a few school systems interested in a circuit of
such fun educational value!!!!
There's probably more but I'm burning out for now. Any other comments or ideas?
