Sorry Grant, but will have to disagree with you on this one. The above
example didn't apply in the past, only now. Dr.T preferred the 5p format
and not both formats. I can find enough references to back this claim.
Not only did he mention he preferred the 5p format but tried to convert
people to 5p when someone mentioned they prefered 7p. Now I don't say
this is bad, because by debating these preferences, one learns alot.
Which BTW I have. He is entitled to his preferences and everyone
hopefully evolves to try other formats and enjoy all of them. This is
finally happening to Dr.T I think. Remember recently he was entranced
with LCD 3D technology on a computer screen. So it's good to see George
is open to new ways of doing things, albeit kicking and dragging,
intellectually speaking ;-) and not literally.
That is why we are having a bit of fun with Dr.T since he was always
so adamant (and still is in some other matters) in regards to 5p vs 7p.

>Just because I now have a Realist, and can be all enthused about it's
>plusses, doesn't mean I can't still feel excited about my Nimslo.

I agree completely with the above statement and I think only now is Dr.T
coming to this way of thinking and not thinking the Realist is the world.
I would like to qualify my above, and say I always stated I PREFER the
7p format. This doesn't mean I don't like the 5p format. Far from it.
I, as you do (and finally I hope Dr.T does) love all the formats (mom
and dad). Actually as alot of people on this list do, enjoy looking at
images be it in 4p, 5p, 8p. Also enjoy viewing slides, prints. 3D pics
be it in books, computer monitor in any format. Of course all this has
to be reasonable 3D and not trash. I am quite toloerant in minor faults
in any of the above scenarios. George does also but is afraid to admit
it I think. Yes you heard right. Example, remember when he said he
doesn't like viewing 3D pics in books and only finds 3D slide mount
viewing enjoyable. He then claimed he reads Stereo World and buys
3D books for reading them and not to view. Now I wonder why he got
3D books such as 3DMuseum (does he read japanese?), Magic 3D,
3D Hollywood. Oh yes maybe he can claim it's because he is antiquarian
(look it up) but I don't believe it. Yes I can say I buy Playboy for the
articles. ;-) Now what is behind this wink?

>You wouldn't know I've had four cups of coffee and a Mt. Dew, wouldya?

Just a piece of trivia for ya. Our (in Canada) Mountain Dew doesn't contain
any caffeine.
